Morning Light staff brought awareness of hospice for the homeless and those of limited means at the Community Health and Wellness Fair Sponsored by The Indianapolis Recorder Saturday September 24, 2016 at Ivy Community College.
Tom Fodor Executive Director CEO of Morning Light, and Martha Day, Administrator, educated the attendees about Morning Light’s mission: Morning Light, Inc. fosters nonprofit community services and programs in central Indiana for the terminally ill, seniors, and families of limited means in need of health, wellness or end of life care. Morning Light is best known for its Abbie Hunt Bryce Home, which has provided free living accommodations for 400 hospice residents since its 2004 opening, and Pennwood Place, which has 35 subsidized apartments for seniors. This was the second consecutive year that Morning Light had been a major participant at the Fair.
