Morning Light, Inc. fosters nonprofit community services and programs in central Indiana for the terminally ill, seniors, and families of limited means in need of health, wellness or end of life care.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBI) held an on-site staff meeting on site at Morning Light’s Pennwood Place apartments on Friday, February 5th. The FHLBI partnered with Morning Light’s predecessor, the VNS Foundation, to construct the 35 unit residence five years ago. The FHLBI says in many ways Pennwood is a great example for other housing sponsors to follow , as it offers activities, fellowship and even Pacer field trips. FHLBI’s MaryBeth Wott (far left, second row) led the meeting which featured a tour of Alice Myers’ apartment (she is second from right, first row). Resident Manager Alice Wilson (standing next to Ms. Myers) and Morning Light’s Executive Director CEO Tom Fodor ( in tie, back row) also talked about the enjoyment of serving seniors.
