Morning Light Joins Forces with the springtime Brunch Run

Over 800 runners participated in the Brunch Run Indy 5K Race April 22. Radio station 92.3 WTTS partnered with The Naked Monkey in presenting the event. Morning Light was fortunate to receive a portion of the proceeds. Brenda Schultz, Morning Light Board member and owner of The Naked Monkey posed with the Morning Light staff, Martha Day, Tom Fodor and Madison Gonzalez.

This was the first of two 5K Brunch Runs this year. Morning Light was honored to be a part of Spring Sunday Funday, while another will be held this Fall.  After the race a full breakfast brunch buffet was waiting for participants at the Rathskeller restaurant. Live music was provided from Biergarten, outdoors of the Rathskeller.

Tom Fodor, Executive Director CEO thanked everyone who ran, walked and volunteered. Along with Tom Fodor and Brenda Schultz, other members of the Morning Light “family” who participated were Dr. Erin Newton Chair of the Abbie Hunt Bryce Advisory Committee, Madison Gonzalez, Project Specialist, Martha Day, Administrator, Nalisha Jordan, Home Assistant at the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home.

We also thank Bruce Glor and Tiffany Wessler, members of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis, who also came out to support Morning Light.

THIS was a true Sunday Funday!
